The Petronas twin towers is the most iconic landmark for the city however I cannot imagine what kind of view it can offer aside from the great view of it. The tourist tickets are expensive at 85MR aka £17 which is a bit pricey for a short tour (you are guided with a scheduled time slot booked on the day or online). There are limited tickets sold for each day so best to book them online so you know what time slots are available.

Just as I thought; the view was nothing great but just another novelty visit. It’s not worth ticking that box to say “I’ve been there”. I did some research before where there is an amazing view of the towers from The Traders Hotel; it’s not far but a short distance walk from the towers. We took the lift up to the Sky bar “free of charge by the way” and saw my money shot! I wished I had a night view here because I know how amazing it would have looked but oh well. The Sky Bar has a swimming pool and is rather quiet during the day. You can sip some cocktails; chill by the pool and just gaze at the view all day long.

I don’t recommend buying a ticket for the tower tour; nor he view you will get; just get yourself to The Traders Hotel‘s Sky Bar that is family friendly. Otherwise; you can check out the Petronas twin towers site here.
